Brief job description:
Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for an IT Support Apprentice with Advancis Software and Services, a Software Company based in Morley.
Job Description:
This position is a technical hands-on role supporting the company’s current customer/integrator base with design, deployment, and configuration of our solutions, configuring proof of concepts, and working to solve complex deliverables. All with the assistance and guidance from more senior colleagues.
Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:
Provide technical support to customers/integration partners as required.
Use company tools for the logging of support tickets and project management.
Install, deploy, test and upgrade Advancis applications.
Provide technical assistance to Advancis team members for sales meetings, conferences, and exhibitions.
Interact globally with co-workers, suppliers, and customers.
Work alongside the engineering team to continuously improve software design and solutions, to fit customer requirements.
Qualifications:
5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)
Skills Required:
Excellent communication (oral and written).
Good organisational skills with ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities.
Hands-on technical approach.
Ability and desire to develop new skills, expand knowledge, and learn new technologies.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Personal qualities:
An interest and desire to work in an IT based field.
Enthusiastic and keen to develop & learn new skills.
Ability to manage time effectively.
UK citizen, resident, or valid work permit.
Future prospects:
The role offers a permanent role upon completion of the apprenticeship depending on performance.
Training to be provided:

Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Information Communications Technician, with training in how to:
Efficiently operate and control your ICT infrastructure – physical or virtual hardware, software, network services and data storage.
Use infrastructure management tools to automate the provisioning, testing, deployment and monitoring of infrastructure components.
Prioritise systems support tasks and monitor and maintaining system performance
Maintain regulatory, legal and professional standards.
Support the information systems needs for your business.
