IT Support Analyst, Southampton Up to £35k DOE Excellent Benefits | Office Based| Competitive Salary | Professional Development Are you a skilled problem-solver with a passion for IT support? Our client in Southampton is seeking a dedicated IT Support Analyst, to join their service desk. As an IT Support Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing efficient technical support to users across the organisation. Key Responsibilities of the IT Support Analyst:
Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to users ensuring timely resolution. Log and track all technical issues using the ticketing system. Provide both hardware and software support and support users with installations and new hardware set-ups. Collaboration with other IT teams to escalate complex problems. Document all actions and procedures to ensure learning and efficient resolution of similar issues in the future.
Requirements of the IT Support Analyst include:
Proven experience in a service desk or similar 1st/2nd line role Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications Excellent communication and customer service skills. IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL) are advantageous.
