A Global Automation Company based in Milton Keynes, England are looking for an IT Support Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a a full time position with 37.5 hours a week, working from Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 4:45pm and Friday 8:00am- 3:30pm.

The company is a Japanese manufacturer of pneumatic and motion control technology with a reputation for innovation, providing support to all their customers at a local level. Based in Milton Keynes, the UK subsidiary was stablished in 1978 and they help customers solve their factory automation challenges via range of 12,000 standard items (with some 700,000 variations) and bespoke products for specialised requirements.
ABOUT THE ROLE
They are looking for a highly motivated and organised IT Support Administrator with a particular focus on supporting and administrating email and M365 (O365). Working alongside two other support technicians you will provide support to 400+ users onsite and field-based users by phone, email, walk-in or via the ticketing system.
Key Responsibilities:
Mailbox administration and support of email systems
Resolving M365 (O365) support tickets submitted to the IT helpdesk
Managing end user accounts and conducting periodic verifications
Creating and administrating network shares
Playing a key role in the employee onboarding process
Liaising with the global M365 (O365) team for support and participate in regional and global projects
Administering Microsoft Office licensing
Setting up and administrating company mobile phone devices.
Assisting with IT purchasing and asset management
Documenting and maintaining IT procedures and knowledge base articles
Skills & Experience Required:
Solid knowledge of mailbox administration in O365.
Proficient in supporting O365 applications, in particular Outlook and Teams
Experience with email security and familiar with email security concepts
Strong experience of Windows Active Directory environments including Group Policy, across multiple OUs
High attention to detail and degree of accuracy required
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Desired Skills & Experience:
A desire to fully utilise the M365 Platform and explore opportunities it can bring to the business.
Comfortable with presenting to and training small groups of users
Experience of working with regional and global IT teams
Microsoft Intune or SharePoint experience a plus
Minimum of 3 years of support working in a fast-paced environment
