We are proud to offer a rewarding position for a dedicated IT Service Desk Technician to join our passionate team.
Location:
Sydenham and Orpington, with 23 shops across the Bromley Borough. Community outreach spans 1.6 million individuals in Lewisham, Lambeth, Southwark, Bromley, and Croydon. Our workforce comprises 600+ employees supported by 1,350 volunteers.
Your New Role:
This role presents an exciting opportunity for an aspiring IT Service Desk Technician seeking employment with a reputable brand. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of IT support, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities include:
* Providing exceptional customer service onsite and offsite.
* Recording IT support requests and escalating priority calls.
* Responding to and resolving first-line IT support queries.
* Supporting IT-related projects and activities, including asset management, software patching, and desktop upgrades.
To Be Successful in the Role:
We are seeking a candidate who is customer-focused, delivery-driven, and possesses strong IT support skills. Key requirements include:
* Ability to manage the IT Service Desk system and prioritise and escalate calls.
* Proficiency in responding to first-line IT support queries via various channels.
* Proven ability to resolve issues and provide face-to-face support.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow established processes.
* Proficiency in asset management and willingness to stay updated on IT trends.
* Collaborative team player with the flexibility to provide cover in staff absence.
* A full driving licence would also be advantageous
