If so, you could be the ideal fit as the IT Service Desk Manager at this Sheffield based Housing Association.
The business is introducing a new IT Service Management tool and now need someone to join in a management role to make sure the business has effective procedures, policy processes, and the right tools in place to manage and track service management.
Your role as IT Service Desk Manager will be a dual role of leading the team to make sure the service desk continues to perform well, while also standardising and defining the team’s approach to service desk.
This is, therefore, an excellent opportunity to be the main person responsible for a team transforming their approach to service desk where you will influence business best practice and IT strategy, which gives you an excellent stepping stone to future more senior management roles.
You will be an excellent fit for this position if you are currently in an IT Service Desk role where you have led on manging KPIs across a support desk and have helped to define team targets and mentored other team members. You’ll likely be a team leader who has perhaps overseen the reporting and analysis of the service desk, and now feel ready to manage the overall function.

As IT Service Desk Manager, you will:
Oversee the effective operation of the IT service desk, managing a team of IT support staff, to ensure high levels of performance and customer service.
Create, implement, and monitor effective best-practice processes for IT services.
Manage the IT Service Management tool and all IT processes.
Turn business requirements and department objectives into KPIs and SLAs to ensure a high level of service and value.
Analyse and report on performance data and trends.
You will need to have prior experience of ensuring the delivery of IT Service Desks and be ready to take on a lead role in Service Desk management.
A salary of up to £43,000 is on offer with a great benefits package. The position is hybrid near Sheffield.
