IT Security Project Manager

IT Security Project Manager ¦ London Market/General Insurance ¦ Contract Inside IR35 ¦ London/Hybrid

We are looking for an experienced IT Security Project Manager to oversee and manage a key strategic project for a technology led insurance business. An exciting opportunity to join newly formed Change function, be part of the organisation's transformation in building out their security function. You will be working with the Business Change & Technology functions to ensure the project is managed to required standards.

The successful candidate will be experienced Project Manager with insurance background, with strong IT skills and extensive experience in cyber security related projects.

This position is on a contract basis offering up to £800 per day Inside IR35. The company operates a hybrid working model, a company policy of 2-3 days per week in the Central London office.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the IT and Change department managers, provide updates on the advancement of the current plan and delivery, and report any deviations from tolerance to the appropriate level of management, including C-suite level
• Oversee risks, issues, deadlines, and dependencies, and provide updates on the current status at agreed-upon intervals
• Make certain that any problems and actions taken to resolve them that arise from the evaluation or external audit are recorded, and that the project's scope is managed suitably
• Collaborate with the Infrastructure team to guarantee that the functional and non-functional needs of projects and programs are identified, suitable for their planned purpose, and maintained with current information

Requirements:

• Experience as a Project Manager within Lloyd's / London insurance market or general insurance
• Previous experience in managing technology projects, particularly cyber security and infrastructure related
• Familiarity with IT security and control frameworks like ISO27001 and NIST
• Possess exceptional interpersonal abilities and be capable of creating productive professional relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
• Ability to implement projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
