They are looking for a IT Project Manager to come join an expanding Project Management team and be part of an exciting chapter in the company's journey.
Your new role
Their IT stack is mainly Microsoft based, and in which they have several COTS back-office systems, including IBMMaximo, Select HR, ESRI ArcGIS, and Microsoft SharePoint. The IT Project Office is responsible for engaging with the business on project proposals and concepts, ensuring that projects are initiated, scoped and delivered based on business priorities and in line with business objectives and IT strategy.
The IT Project Manager will work with the business (end user) and technical teams, to establish and
Implement projects of varying sizes and technologies. You will need to be fluent in managing both.
Waterfall and Agile projects and have a good insight into Product led change. You will play a key role in the delivery of IT related projects and business process improvement, and act as a ‘bridge’ between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience as a IT Project Manager and agile delivery methodologies (Sponsor and Stakeholder management and excellent communication skills.
Proficient at managing time and resources and the ability to draw up detailed project plans and schedules.
Proven leadership skills while adept at negotiating and engaging with both internal and external customers, suppliers and stakeholders.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills and capable of managing crises as and when they arise.
Desirable skills, experience and qualifications:
Project Management Qualifications including Prince 2, Certified Project Manager,
Professional in Project Management.
Agile qualifications such as Certified ScrumMaster, Agile Project Management.
Understanding of Project Management Frameworks and toolsets.
Excellent Microsoft Office Skills.
Background in Business Analysis, IT Development and/or IT Testing.
Experience of working with ITIL Service Management Processes (v3/v4 Foundation Certificate desirable).
Familiarity with project planning, delivery management and collaboration tools (e.g. MS Project, Jira, Miro, ADO, Monday.com) would be advantageous.
Experience of working within an organisation where facilities / asset management and on-site
Experience in a modern service based, cloud first organisation
