IT Procurement Manager

Job DescriptionWe are currently partnering with a well established business in the Maritime sector in their search for an IT Category Procurement Manager. This organisation offer flexibility and will be majority home based with 2-4 times in the office per month. Ideally candidates will be based in either Berkshire or the MidlandsYou will be responsible for designing, managing, and executing new IT procurement category plans and project plans for individual initiatives, evaluating processes, and identifying risks and issues to ensure contracts are delivered on time and within budget, with improved benefits and savings. You will also conduct deep research into the IT spend category and identify how savings and sustainable margin improvement can be created. You will also lead strategic and tactical sourcing projects, whilst developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. In order to carry out this role, you will need the following:Previous experience in an IT Procurement roleCommercial negotiation and supplier management experience with a track record delivering cost savings, service improvements, and supplier innovationProven stakeholder influencing skills and experience in supplier development and commercial cost reductionPractical knowledge of IT service agreements, Licensing and SAAS agreementsExcellent presentation and influencing skillsSubstantial time and project management skillsIdeally MCIPS qualified or willing to work towards thisIn return, you will receive a competitive salary, incredible pension scheme & Bonus.
