As the IT Procurement Manager you'll work from a prestigious office in either Bristol or Birmingham for 2 days a week (or 5 should you prefer), and the rest from home. Flexibility is key to this company's ethos, so they invite application from anyone who may need some additional working arrangements, such as part-time or condensed hours. You will be responsible for:Optimizing the existing category management process using RACI, and other procurement tools to maximize margins and efficiency, while defending their reputation for excellent policy, process, and service, and complying to FCA/PRA regulations.Initiating new category management strategies to streamline and automate business, to meet and grow customer demand.Utilizing your IT category expertise to advise and negotiate contracts, striking balance between service, cost, and risk.Protecting the company's supply continuity through implementing innovative risk management strategies.Challenging and redefine their existing procurement processes in the name of sustainability.This is a IT Procurement Manager position, as such, you should have an extensive IT category knowledge, primarily within the software systems: SaaS, Paas, and Cloud Hosting, but also across Business Transformation through technology, and SI Partners. This knowledge would ideally be acquired in a similar procurement manager role.
