With a newCPO, and new Director of IT Procurement in post, this is the idealtime to join a team who are playing a critical role in facilitating aTech Enabled, business wide, transformation which encompasses AI,Automation, Bi Data Cyber Security and Engineering / Operations. Ifyou're passionate about identifying technology enabled solutions thatimprove customer experience and drive efficiencies across day to dayoperations for a business which creates 650 million data points daily,we'd love to hear from you!Role Overview:Reportinginto the Senior Procurement Manager, you will directly engage andinfluence an IT & Technology spend portfolio of c£60 - £70 million.You will partner with key stakeholders to identify opportunities todrive operational efficiencies through tech innovation, whilstdeveloping commercial partnerships with new and emerging suppliers whoare able to challenge the status quo, proactively seeking positiveimpacts to collaboratively deliver first class value for the businessand protect it from risk.Reporting to the SeniorProcurement Manager, you will be responsible for leading the categoryteam in the sourcing through to award of specified category of goodsand services to meet internal customer's needs.You'llchallenge and guide to drive effective procurement strategies thatmaximise financial and non-financial value delivery.You'llwork collaboratively with other Procurement Team members to make mosteffective use of the resources available across the procurementfunctions through a 'pooled resource' way of working.You'llbe able to provide expert negotiation guidance and support to maximisevalue delivery or mitigate risk across the category.Act as acommercial and contractual escalation point for business areacustomers and contract managers.Your skills andattributes for success:Experience of managing multiple ITSourcing projects - working at pace to challenging deadlines.Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion to help shapeand develop the organisations Procurement service.Provenability to apply professional expertise to develop and implementinnovative procurement solutions across IT & Technology categories.Is a proven negotiator and has been trained in negotiationprinciples and a track record of savings delivery.Excellentinterpersonal skills; able to lead in cross-functional teams andconfidently operate at all levels with internal business andsuppliers.
