Montreal Associates are looking for a IT Operation Engineer for a client based in London.
Location
: Central London / 4 days onsite. Nearest underground station : Bank
Start Date
: ASAP
Duration/length
: 6-month renewable contract, long-term assignment
Languages
: English /
French could be a plus
Background and Skills:
At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Experience in the following technologies: Windows and Linux servers, VMware, Active Directory, Networks basics, Microsoft Exchange
Nice to have :
Knowledge on Citrix, Veeam, AWS, Azure, MS SQL, Oracle
Experience in an international company
Objectives :
Maintain systems operationnal
Provide level 2 support
Handle upgrades and patches
Responsibilities:
Ownership of level 2 tickets
Monitor systems, networks and infrastructure workflows
Upgrade and patch our systems and hardware
Open and follow incidents with providers
Document incidents and processes
