IT Onsite Support Technician - Welling/South East London

A growing Technology Services Provider are looking for an IT Onsite Support Technician to work across designated schools in and around the Welling/South East London area. You must have excellent experience with Windows 10, office 365 and cisco networking technologies maintaining and troubleshooting IT systems and networks.

The Onsite IT School Support Technician will need to be DBS checked to work across the different school sites. As the successful IT School support technician, you will need to have knowledge in Windows operating systems and how they work in a local area network environment.

Key Skills the IT Onsite Support Technician will have:

• Windows Operating Systems - 10/8/7
• Proficient with Active Directory and Office365
• Ability to explain technical terms and situations to non-technical people
• Experience of maintaining and working with WAN connection
• Cisco networking technologies - switches, routers
• Software backups and licences
• Anti-virus tools
• Any knowledge/experience working on LGFL systems is a bonus

You will be responsible for providing Onsite IT support for multiple schools, with the school you are assigned being your main place of work. The schedule of this position will also vary, so the IT School Support Technician can expect to visit up to 4/5 schools a week. The other day you will have the opportunity to shadow 3^rd line engineers and learn new technologies.
