Job description Primarily responsible for the Company’s current IT and communications network and systems, maintain IT strategies by managing staff; researching and implementing technological strategic solutions Personnel Management and People Development
Manage the team for Infrastructure & Operation, Application Services, Retail Services, Digitalisation and Business Intelligence Maintain staff of IT division by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees Hold regular meetings with the IT staff to review strategic goals and initiatives promote team building and work to provide growth paths for staff.
Strategic planning, development, and management
Support Brands HQ initiatives to introduce new technologies and business processes. CRM, BI, replenishment, digital marketing, e-commerce, omni-channel, office automation, customer care, MPO’s, etc. Digital technological research by studying organisation goals, strategies, practices and user projects. Verify application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented. Evaluate organisation outcomes; identify and resolve problems related to network infrastructure, hardware components, operating systems. Establish and maintain a strong relationship with Swatch Group Services ITS to implement and maintain new technologies. Help define IT infrastructure strategy architecture and processes. Manages local business software and office productivity applications; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements. Strong collaboration with Swatch Group Services (DIT) to implement and maintain Group applications (SAP, Retail, etc). Analyse business requirements by partnering with key stakeholdersacross the organisation to develop solutions. Keep local IT documentation updated (IT inventories, charts, contracts, user manual, etc) Keep projects roadmap updated and discuss project priorities with management. Forecast requirements; prepare an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective actions. Implement disaster recovery and back-up procedures, information security and control structures. Establish and enforce organisation standards. Develop standard operating procedures and best practices, provide written IT policies and procedures, including those for security, standards, purchasing and service provision and guidance to IT staff and to end users according to the directives of SGUK. Responsible for the ordering, acquisition, inventorying and disposition of hardware and software Serve as primary contact with outside vendors in the generation of bids, contracts, agreements, and other major vendor interactions, system operations and maintenance. Maintain the integrity and continued operation of the IT network including the wireless networks in accordance with the guidance of SGUK. Maintain security and privacy of the information systems, communication lines, and equipment. Establish procedure to comply with Corporate and Group security policies. Ensure Copyright Compliance e.g. software licences. Assist in Information Certification Project Keeps current with technology updates to ensure technology opportunities are taken advantage of, whether the opportunities relate to speed, improved processing, cost efficiencies, etc.
