Group IT Manager required by a sizable eCommerce and trade product manufacturer and distributor based near to Chester. In this exciting role, the Group IT Manager will take full responsibility for the firm’s IT Operations, Infrastructure team, across multiple sites, providing systems and support for around 200 users. Primarily, you’ll ensure the team deliver daily BAU status while directing and performing continuous improvement, maintenance and project delivery, mainly focused on system security, user safety, policies, governance, support, and systems integrations and upgrades.
The right candidate for this Group IT Manager position will be a proven leader, strong with IT infrastructure engineering and systems administration, and capable of working collaboratively alongside other departmental managers to design and deliver strategic IT solutions. Any experience of manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, or ecommerce would be advantageous.
Technical requirements include strong experience of MS365, Windows Server 2008-#####, Azure, AD, Exchange, SQL Server, Intune, Group Policies, VMWare, Networking (firewalls, switches, VLANs, routers, DNS, WiFi, etc), Arc Servers, and ERP. Any experience of warehouse management systems, VB and SQL scripting would be really useful too.
