Job DescriptionIT Infrastructure & Systems Engineer London based (hybrid)Salary £50,000-£60,000Working for a prestigious London Market Insurer I am looking for an IT Infrastructure & Systems Engineer who will manage and support the Groups IT infrastructure and systems, ensuring adherence with both market and regulatory compliance. You will be required to be involved in project management, albeit as a technical lead for business project or project management for IT change, including the planning, design, development, and deployment of IT change.Responsibilities include-Support and maintain the Group’s IT Infrastructure in relation to current and future availability, capacity, security, and business demand.Ability to scope, plan and manage the delivery of implementation/development of new and existing IT solutions, both business and technical solutions. This covers upgrades, patching, change and new.Provide IT technical resource to Business IT projects to ensure adherence to IT standards in terms of security, strategies, compliance and policies.Review and analyse the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies accordingly.Provide 3rd line support to the service desk support tickets.Undertake any other related duties as may be reasonably requiredRequired skills- Proven experience in similar roleAbility to effectively work within a team or on their own initiativeMicrosoft Server 2016/##########2 OS, VMWare/ESXi, Dell EqualLogic’s, Active Directory, Exchange, SQL Serve#####16/19, Back Up and DR services (Veeam), Networking, including Firewalls, VOIP, Wi-Fi, routers, coms links etc., Citrix, VDI, PowerShellGood knowledge of cloud based solutions, Azure, AWS, Office 365 SharePoint online.Ability to produce documentation to a high standardTroubleshoot in a logical manner and will be pro-active in your approach, being able to spot potential problems, escalate and react as necessaryDeal competently with pressure and able to priorities workloadMust be a team player and take ownershipStrong interpersonal and communication skillsUnderstanding of the ITIL frameworkIT Infrastructure & Systems Engineer London based (hybrid)Salary £50,000-£60,000If you think you could be a good match for this role, please send your CV in for immediate consideration.
