Meraki Talent’s financial services client are looking for an IT Infrastructure / Reliability Engineer to come and join the team. The company has gone through a steady period of growth and are now looking for additional support within the IT Team.
This position has arisen due to an internal promotion and offers the chance to join an organisation that places a strong value on career development and progression. The role will be to provide infrastructure support through incident, reliability and problem analysis as well as implementing IT operational change. They are looking for someone with an interest in IT infrastructure, Cloud and Dev ops technologies and someone who is adept and overseeing changes to IT processes and structures.
Responsibilities of the Site Reliability Engineer / Infrastructure Analyst
Automate IT tasks and operational activities effectively
Execute technical roles within IT operations processes, including incident, problem, change, and release management for distributed web applications
Utilize expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud, and DevOps technologies to enhance colleague and customer experience
Oversee performance and capacity management of distributed applications
Background of the Site Reliability Engineer / Infrastructure Analyst
Strong understanding of IT Infrastructure, Azure and Cloud technologies
Experience in site reliability, incident management and releases of applications
Adept at IT Change Management and improving organizational IT procedures
Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to collaborate with various IT and business users
