IT Infrastructure Engineer

My client is hiring an IT Infrastructure Engineer who has a proven track record in on prem infrastructure to cloud migration, BAU and Project support across; Security, Networks, Servers, DR, backup & storage systems - every week will bring a new challenge. Hybrid working, 2-3 days on site in South Gloucestershire (free, safe Parking).

Description

The IT Infrastructure Engineer will have a proven track record in the following:

• Microsoft 365: Intune, Azure AD, Security and Compliance, Office 365 - SharePoint, Teams, Exchange
• VMware vSphere
• Server and Storage Hardware
• Windows Operating Systems (Server 2008 to Server 2022 and Windows 7 to Windows 11)
• Active Directory/Entra ID
• Cisco Networking
• Meraki Networking - Firewall, WiFi, Switching. VLAN, VPN, SD Wan.
• Security technologies; Antivirus, Firewall, Disk-Encryption, Email Security, Intrusion Prevention/Detection, Web Content Filtering.

Profile

The IT Infrastructure Engineer will have a proven track record in the following:

• On prem to Cloud migration exposure
• Good knowledge across Security, Networks, Servers, Back up & storage
• Customer focused and find value in supporting people and fixing issues. Be comfortable supporting users remotely and face to face.
• Ability to interpret and investigate requirements and issues. Respond effectively, using good written and verbal communication skills. Team player, willing to support all colleagues when required.
• Agile working methodologies
• Exposure to ITIL framework
• Supporting Helpdesk, collaboratively working across 1-3rd line
• Supporting a wide range of internal and external systems. Including the implementation of improvement requests and troubleshooting performance issues.

Job Offer

�40,000 - �50,000 per annum
