This Leading Charity located in Russell Square are looking for an IT & Facilities Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This role requires regular travel to London Office and occasional travel to other sites.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As part of the wider Operations Team, the IT & Facilities Manager leads their approach to IT, systems administration and facilities by providing outstanding customer service to their team. You will be refining and delivering strategic plans for their IT infrastructure, ensuring the exemplary operation of charity's offices and co-working spaces, and upskilling colleagues in the organisation on technology and systems in conjunction with other teams. The support the IT and Facilities Team give is essential to everyone at charity in order to be as equipped to work and provide the space and service for their people to continue to create social change by improving the lives of children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership of the IT & Facilities Team
Ensure that the team is listening to and serving the needs of the charity and provide outstanding customer service to their team and stakeholders
Promote and role model a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Manage budget and proactively seek ways to increase value for money
Delivery of high-quality IT services
Refine and deliver the strategic plan for their infrastructure
Oversee the delivery of the IT service desk both by being hands on and through charity’s outsourced provider;
Ensure that colleagues have the right hardware and systems to do the best job possible.
Delivery of high-quality facilities management
Manage the lease and lettings of their facilities
Ensure the exemplary operation of charity’s offices and co-working spaces, including day-to-day operations, maintenance and health and safety.
Upskilling Colleagues
Support colleagues to develop the skills needed to make the most of their technology and systems, in conjunction with other teams both for new starters and ongoing improvement.
Information Security Management
Ensure systems are secure, monitored, adequately backed up and reported on;
Work with colleagues to ensure compliance to all regulatory standards and requirements including ISO 27001, Cyber essentials Plus and GDPR SARs.
Play a key role in the Information Security Team that advises on risks and suggests technical solutions to mitigate these risks.
As required flexibly support Charity with any actions or projects in order to meet charitable goals
Person specification:
Experience and Knowledge
Essential
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Azure Active Directory including
Account management
Conditional Access Policies and Single Sign-On (SSO)
Dynamic Security Groups
Confident in use of Endpoint (Intune) Device Management
Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) via Endpoint
Compliance policies
Configuration profiles
Experienced with SharePoint administration
Modern SharePoint experience
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration
Office 365 environment - Exchange Online, Teams, etc.
IT support or helpdesk experience or other relevant customer facing role
Desirable:
Experience with using PowerShell (including scripts) - occasional requirement for tenant administration
Google Admin - mobile device management
Line Management experience
Project management and managing partners, suppliers and budgets
Applying Information Security and Data Protection regulations
Knowledge of industry-standard information security controls;
Experience and expertise with other technology platforms or systems that could be used to benefit the charity
