Job DescriptionThe role: IT Engineer (on-site)Under the direction of the Head of IT, and within the limits of ROSL’s policies and procedures your main role is to provide on-site IT, systems, and network support for the ROSL team, and occasional support for our members and guests, as required.This is a role that will expose you to a wide range of tasks and challenges – from general IT administration to helping with concerts and events or completing software deployment projects. You will be joining a small team where the most important skill is a willingness to get involved and get the job done. There will be opportunities to develop experience that will serve well in developing your career.With a strong technical background and excellent communication and organisational skills, the IT Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the smooth daily running of the IT support function at the Clubhouse, in line with our values;Key Responsibilities:and maintain the computer systems and networks at ROSL.and configuring computer systems, diagnosing hardware and software faults and solving technical and applications problems, either over the phone or in person.the smooth running of all IT systems (PC’s, laptops, CCTV, Aruba managed switches, wifi, printers, phone system, TV system, EPOS, PDQ’s, etc) and ensuring that users get maximum benefits from them.team members, members or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face, over the phone, or via email to help set up systems or resolve issuessystem and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faultssupport, including procedural documentation and relevant reportsthe Head of IT in the roll-out of new applicationsup new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issueswithin agreed time limits to raised issuesany serious issues to the Head of ITwith third party providers, as appropriateand manage many open cases at one timeestablish a good working relationship with team members, members, clients and external providersand evaluate new technologyprinter administrationthe deployment and maintenance of desktop applicationsmeeting room AV equipment supportAdditional Information:the club’s level of business varies considerably, there is a need for flexibility in attitude, approach and working hours.above description is not to be regarded as exhaustive.
