We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our IT support team as an IT Service Desk Analyst. They will be customer focused and provide a single point of contact for all users of IT through the logging and management of all incidents and service requests. Responsibilities: Provide first-line support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person. Provision of first line support, including but not limited to triage and appropriate troubleshooting, correct incident categorisation and resolution where possible. Retention of end-to-end ownership and working with Piramal IT resolver groups and third parties where required. Purchase of and receipting equipment as required. Maintain excellent customer service ensuring issues are resolved in a timely manner. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues. Assist in managing and maintaining IT systems and equipment. Set up new user accounts and manage access to networks and systems. Document and track all issues and resolutions in our ticketing system. Work collaboratively with other members of the IT team to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems and services. Provide training and guidance to end-users on basic IT tasks. Requirements: A passion for technology and willingness to learn. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Good communication and customer service skills Ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively. Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and Windows 7&10, operating systems is a plus. Job Type: Temporary contract Contract length: 6 months Pay: Up to £24,500.00 per year Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: Morpeth: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Education: GCSE or equivalent (preferred) Experience: Technical support: 1 year (preferred) Customer service: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person Reference ID: ISTemp
