IP Network Engineer | North London | up to £40,000 Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are working with one of its newest client; a fastgrowing, highly accredited technology company based in North London. Our client specialises in the supply of software, IT hardware, training and service solutions and is currently placed in the Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track as one of the best places to work. THE BASICS: As the IP Network Engineer you will be required to create and deliver optimum solutions to meet business and client needs throughout the entire project lifecycle from understanding the project and requirements to transition into BAU support. This job opportunity will suit a highly competent individual with strong communication & technical skills. The ideal candidate will have Juniper experience / qualification and be expected to take on challenging projects, often spanning more than one application and/or technology and will also be required to assist the Infrastructure Management team in the day to day network operations and comfortable with shift based emergency availability in the event of service faults. THE SKILLS: Individuals with solid experience working with enterprise level network / telecom services with Juniper Technology, ideally MX, EX & SRX as well as Linux and carrier services delivered from Linux platforms coupled with industry leading network and security products including, Juniper, VMware, EMC Storage, and Symantec Backup will be highly sought after. In addition, we are looking for individuals with technical design skills and detailed conceptual knowledge of the following technologies/services: MPLS, BGP, VPN services, hosted SIP, Internet, cloud based services, network services (DHCP, IP, DNS), unified communications, LAN services ; coupled with thorough conceptual knowledge of enterprise routing protocols including BGP & OSPF. If you have JNCIE and / or JNCIP (or equivalent experience) you are likely to receive an immediate interview request.
