Job Description
THE SEARCH:
Altus Partners is exclusively collaborating with a private asset manager that oversees approximately £3.5 billion across private equity and private credit strategies, primarily investing in the financial and business services sectors. Experiencing a period of robust growth, the firm is seeking to fill a newly created role for a technically proficient Investor Relations Associate/Senior Associate focused on fundraising for its private credit-related strategies.
This presents an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong technical understanding of relevant credit investment strategies (such as asset-based lending and securitization) to join a high-performing team in a multifaceted IR role offering significant client exposure.
THE ROLE:
Collaborate with the IR team to provide support mainly in Private Credit, focusing on investor reporting and communications.
Exhibit a solid understanding of alternatives and the Private Credit sector by drafting investor communications and reports, responding to RFPs, creating marketing materials, and engaging with investors.
Assist in crafting investor communications, responding to DDQs, and ensuring clarity and accuracy.
Efficiently create customized presentations.
Support the Finance team in preparing investor reports, ensuring consistency across documents and internal records while maintaining thoroughness and accuracy.
Aid the IR team in business development activities, including researching and reaching out to new investors, sourcing RFPs, and investigating new mandates.
Prioritize the maintenance of CRM systems and investor records to support investor relations strategies.
Ensure documents are of the highest quality before being reviewed by the investment team.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
Analytical mindset with technical skills, ideally with a background in private or public credit.
Experience in investor relations/fundraising is preferred.
Possess a client-first attitude, a strong work ethic, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Proficient at creating high-quality, bespoke presentations and adept at responding to RFPs and DDQs,
