Direct message the job poster from Rev & RegsRev & Regs are recruiting for an Investment Trust Accountant position for a large multinational Financial Services company. You will be responsible for maintaining the books and records of a broad range of funds.Responsibilities:Preparation and review of financial statements for a range of complex Investment Companies and OEIC sub funds.Preparation and review of management and board reporting and other external returns.Attendance at audit committee meetings to support the presentation of financial reporting material.Oversight of activities performed by a third part service provider.Co-ordination of the external audit for the Investment Companies.Liaison with tax specialists and Depositary/Trustee.Conduct analysis and review of dividend announcements to ensure correct accounting treatment.Resolution of audit queries and reconciling positions to Depositary statements.Keeping abreast of industry and technical developments.Experience:Previous fund statutory reporting experience for Investment Company Funds.Proven understanding and knowledge of the AIC SORP and or IA SORP.Proven ability to communicate and work with all levels of personnel.Analytical approach with aptitude to work independently and solve complex problems.Proven ability to prioritise and organise own time in order to meet strict deadlines.Strong attention to detail, analytical and numerate mind-set.Part qualified accountant or qualified by experience.Team player with a flexible attitude, able to prioritise, work under pressure and to tight deadlines.Willingness to share knowledge with colleagues and work collaboratively to achieve team goals.Good organisational skills, a self-starter who is able to take ownership of issues.Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of other Office programmes.Location: Hybrid (2 days per week in Surrey office)If you are interested, please apply today – ##### / 0208 138 2324Seniority levelSeniority level Mid-Senior level Employment typeEmployment type Full-time Job functionJob function Accounting/Auditing Industries Financial Services, Investment Management, and Funds and Trusts Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Rev & Regs by 2xGet notified about new
