Job Description
We are currently seeking an Investment Specialist focused on Fund-of-Fund Investments across private markets to join our team to help drive continued growth for the Multi-Asset and Asset Allocation teams. We are expanding our multi-asset fund range with a private market focused strategy to support the ongoing growth of our defined contribution (DC) business and to expand the range of investment options available for DC investors
This is a fantastic opportunity for an inquisitive fast learner with an interest in multi-asset, private markets, and fund-of-fund investments. We are looking for candidates who are intellectually curious, with strong quantitative and investment skills and who enjoy working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
The Asset Allocation team combines LGIM’s economic and multi-asset research capabilities with portfolio management groups across a range of multi-asset product categories.
Within the Asset Allocation team, LGIM’s Multi-Asset Funds team is responsible for the management and growth of our diversified fund range. The team brings experience across investment management, investment consulting, banking and academia, working with pension funds, insurers and retail clients
What you’ll be doing
Collaborating with fund managers to market the private market fund-of-fund by leading presentation development for client pitches and client updates
Evolving the positioning of products by understanding the competitive landscape and client needs in the DC market
Production of high-quality investment, market and fund content using a variety of mediums
working with the marketing team to enhance the teams’ brand and market presence, including leveraging the team’s content to create an impact on social media
Collaborating with the other Investment Specialists in the production of regular reporting and commentary
Ensuring RFPs are completed to the highest standards by populating and maintaining the RFP content management library
Be the point of contact for specific client and consultant enquiries, with the opportunity for direct client contact
Qualifications
Educated to degree standard in a science, engineering, economics, IT, business or maths based discipline
Experience in the investment industry with knowledge of private market asset classes and fund structures
Experience managing long term projects while maintaining quality of day to day deliverables
Experience creating strong content with excellent verbal and written communications and a creative flare
Previous private market and fund-of-fund experience
In depth knowledge of UK defined contribution market
Experience or interest in ESG investing is a plus but not a pre-requisite
