What the job involvesWorking closely with the deal lead on reviewing new investment opportunitiesConducting industry research, due diligence, and deal evaluationBuilding and sensitising complex financial modelsUnderstanding performance drivers and using a variety of tools to analyse performance of portfolio companiesKeeping up to date on portfolio performance, including forecasting, commentary, and putting together investment information for internal monitoring purposesWorking with portfolio companies to update financial models and analysis tools to progress companies through the turnaround processReviewing and updating fund's deal database as well as activities associated with the deals on a regular basisFollowing up on the companies' commitments/deliverables/research, documenting the meeting outcomes and follow throughAnalysis and recommendations of companies invested inCo-pilot all aspects of deal execution including market, financial and legal due diligence, structuring, negotiations and preparing investment documents, etc.Who we are looking forPrevious experience in a similar position in private equity. Food Service experience is considered a plusUnderstanding of financial statements, capital structure, cash flow analysis, capital markets and portfolio managementVery strong analytical abilities and advanced financial and business modelling skills. Good command of valuation theory, methodologies, and applicationsDetail-oriented, structured thinker with strong project management skills, able to perform in a high pressure environment to meet tight deadlinesWilling and able work with colleagues in multiple jurisdictions using appropriate communications technologySelf-organised, self-motivated, action oriented and efficientHighly proficient in Excel and PowerPointAdditional European languages are helpful but not essentialSave roleLog in to apply
