Job DescriptionThe Company Our client is an independent, high quality Wealth Management firm.The Role The Investment Director role is to lead a team of Investment Managers as well as their Assistants in providing a service to HNW clients and take overall responsibility for these clients. The Investment Director will collect and navigate client information to provide suitable recommendations within Investment Management.Manage portfolios of investment clients, whilst understanding their client objectives and Investment requirements.The Investment Director will have the ability to work with Private Bankers and Financial Planners to deliver the right investment solutions for HNW client needs, assisting them to retain clients and obtain referrals leading to AUM and client growth.The Investment Director will be expected to lead investment research and take ownership of all aspects of their services from model updates to marketing materials. The Investment Director will ensure continued development of client relationships and the development of the Investment team.The Candidate Level 6 RDR Investment Management/Wealth Management qualification is essential (Level 7 preferred)Senior level Investment Management / Investment Director experience – within Private Client Wealth Management.Experience of leading more junior members within an Investment team.Will be actively learning to further qualifications or development activities, role modelling professional development.To have a significant length of varied experience in managing HNW private clients.Strong team player capable of self & team development.
