Job DescriptionInvestment Director - Growth EquityOur client is a European growth equity fund investing in leading technology companies and is currently seeking an Investment Director to join their investment team.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist partners in crafting investment strategies and in negotiating deals with target companiesSourcing and taking the lead on investment opportunitiesMonitoring portfolio financial performance and working with management teamsTaking leadership roles in also managing existing portfolio companiesManaging and mentoring junior team members in multiple rolesClear track to PartnerRequirements6-10 years of investing experience (ideally VC, growth equity / private equity) in addition to previous investment banking or consulting experience. Technology sector experience is essential.Strong transaction experience (origination and execution) gained within a top-tier venture capital, growth equity or private equity firm.Strong market networkExperience overseeing the work of more junior team membersOutstanding academic background (education to degree level in the relevant fields) and relevant work experienceExcellent teamwork skills within global settingsVery ambitious, entrepreneurial, self-directed individual who anticipates the needs of team members and demonstrates good judgement in decision-makingPlease follow Asset Partners if you would like to be kept up-to-date on additional opportunities
