Investment Director, Fixed Income

A prestigious investment management firm has a unique opportunity for an Investment Director to join one of their leading investment teams. This is a client facing position with two direct reports.The Investment Director will be a key representative for the team’s fixed income strategies and work closely with product, investments and client teams. Our client is looking for a bright, inquisitive and collaborative individual for this opportunity.Role responsibilities include:Act as an ambassador and advocate for the investment team in front of clients, media and internal stakeholdersEngage with clients and lead in meetings to communicate investment philosophy, strategy and performanceWork closely with marketing and client teams to oversee effective messaging of strategies and sign off collateralConduct performance attribution and risk analysisAssisting with product strategy/development and management for the team’s strategiesDevelop content to highlight portfolio positioning, market trends and optimise competitive positioningKey requirements for the role:8+ years’ experience in the investment management industryExperience working in a similar fixed income position is required for this roleCFA qualified (or currently studying towards)Comfortable presenting and communication on a regular basis to clients and senior stakeholders.Ability to coach and mentor junior team membersA demonstrated interest in fixed income investing and passion for learningStrong analytical skills and logical thinker“Mason Blake acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
