Investment Director (BESS)

Job Description
I am partnering with one of the leading European investment funds, They are now looking for an Investment Director to be responsible for developing, acquiring, and completing new projects to
sell into the funds or to third parties and for overseeing and reporting on the DevCo activity - The projects will be utility-scale Battery Storage.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
Source and execute new opportunities for acquisition by the funds, covering transaction structuring, management of due diligence processes, and contract negotiation.
Manage the overall deal execution process.
Source, structure, and transact debt finance where appropriate and manage associated diligence processes.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Background in investment/fund management within Renewables / Energy Storage/ Energy Transition sectors.
Investment track record (leading and executing deals, negotiation, construction oversight)
Strong financial skillset and understanding
Demonstrable skillset in leading and managing energy investments – sourcing, negotiating, and closing.
Asset development experience/exposure
