Investment Banking Associate - PUI & Renewables M&A Team

Job DescriptionA Top Global Investment Bank is looking to add an Associate level individual to their Power, Utilities, Infrastructure & Renewables M&A Team here in London to help execute their extensive pipeline of M&A transactions. This is a growth hire for the team due to exceptional deal flow and an extended period of success in the team. You will work on some of the largest transactions across a broad range of sub-sectors within the Power, Utilities, Infrastructure & Renewables Space. This hire will be a critical part of the team in driving forward on execution as well as dealing directly with clients early on in your tenure.The Opportunity will offer you:Extensive pipeline and high deal flow.Exposure across a broad range of sectors.Experience in working on some of the largest transactions in the market.Extensive client exposure.Working with top global organisations and sponsors as well as exceptional industry leaders.Market leading deal team and experienced team seniors to help in growth and learning. Also opportunity to develop into origination capacity quickly.Continued plans of growth and development in the team.Requirements:Minimum 2:1 or equivalent from a leading University.Additional European language skills not required but can be useful.Preference for previous experience in Power, Utilities, Infrastructure or Renewables sub-sectors. Not a pre-requisite for all sub-sectors however.Requirement of 2.5-4.5 years of full time experience previously within M&A and Investment Banking.Top communication skills.Strong previous exposure on transactions and execution.Comfortable building financial models and broader technical skills.Previous full time experience working at an Investment Bank (Balance sheet or Boutique), Big 4 Corporate Finance Team or Corporate Development Team.
