Summary: This position is responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory and performing cycle counting duties to ensure all materials are verified and reflective of reported inventory.Essential Functions of the Job: This position will maintain inventory accuracy through proper counting, processing of material reports and transfers. Responsible for answering to Logistics Management.Performing cycle counts with scanner, each day adjusting and documenting as required.Verify inventory levels by physically counting stock on hand, comparing counts to computer records, and investigating discrepancies.Ensure all items in the warehouse are appropriately received and stored.Investigate root causes of inventory discrepancies, such as inaccuracies in receiving, picking, or shipping processes, and take appropriate corrective actions.Submits up to date accurate inventory and rack locations reports.Trains other employees in cycle counting & inventory control.Must be able to safely drive turret truck, sit down lifts and other warehouse equipment.Assist in timely location of parts for Material Handlers, Planning, & Quality for quick resolution of issues affecting operations.Always maintain a clean and organized work area.Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, streamline cycle counting processes, and minimize shrinkage through procedural enhancements or system improvements.Exhibits the ability to work well with others and maintain organization between cross-departmental lines.Communicate any issues with Logistics Management or Planners.Perform all other duties assigned.Required Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesHigh School Diploma or Equivalent; or minimum three years related experience.Possess effective written and verbal communication skills.Direct working experience in warehousing and/or inventory management.Proficient with computers utilizing Microsoft Office software/applicationsAll Employees are expected to:Follow the Employee Handbook policies and procedures and uphold organizational values.Report for work consistently and on time.Contribute to building a positive work environment.Report to supervision conditions or practices that are unsafe to ebm-papst and its employees.Job Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 per hour401(k)401(k) matchingEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayWork setting:In-personApplication Question(s):Will you now or in the future need sponsorship?Education:High school or equivalent (Required)Experience:Warehouse: 1 year (Required)Ability to Relocate:Telford, TN 37690: Relocate before starting work (Required)
