Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Intruder Alarm Engineer to join our team. The Intruder Alarm Engineer will be responsible for liaising with customers on-site and carrying out installation, service, maintenance, and repair of a range of security equipment supplied by the company.



Key Responsibilities:





  • Liaise with customers on-site and perform installation, service, maintenance, and repair of security equipment, ensuring it operates safely and efficiently.




  • Identify faults on equipment, including wiring, cameras, IDS sensors, door controllers, fire alarms, etc., and carry out necessary repairs.




  • Install new components to ensure systems are working to the best of their ability and in compliance with standards.




  • Advise customers on the best possible solutions for their security equipment needs.




  • Provide accurate service documentation and certification for site visits.




  • Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with company Health & Safety regulations.




  • Maintain awareness of company Quality Assurance requirements and ensure compliance.




  • Take a positive and proactive approach to promoting all aspects of the company.




  • Be flexible, as you will be required to be on call on a rota basis with the rest of the team.





Qualifications and Skills:





  • Previous experience in installation, service, maintenance, and repair of security equipment.




  • Strong technical knowledge of security systems and components.




  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.




  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.




  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.




  • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and compliance.




  • Flexibility to be on call on a rotational basis.
