The following teams will host 1 intern for the duration of their stay.The teams that are hiring:FinanceRiskCore Engineering (Software Development)In the Finance team, you will have the opportunity to learn techniques for automating finance processes at scale, with on hand support from finance and tech professionals. You can expect a broad experience across all finance functions, engaging with several stakeholders across the business.For the Risk team, you will be exposed to how XTX manages operational and real-time market risk. It is a highly quantitative team, using Python and Golang extensively, and is a unique insight into the daily trading activities of an award-winning trading firm.ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTESWe will give preference to candidates who are in their penultimate year of studies, preferably in a STEM subject such as Maths, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science or related.You should have demonstrable interest in, and expertise with, Python or R for data analysis (Finance and Risk roles)A solid grounding in academic CS fundamentals (algorithms and data structures) for the Core Engineer role.You will be enthusiastic and can demonstrate a willingness to work with multiple teams.You will be able to show an enthusiasm for trading, with a preference for candidates who demonstrate this with internships, personal development projects or academic study.We currently do not offer internships in the quant research or trading analyst teams.XTX Markets Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (Firm Reference Number 711945) and is a provisionally registered swap dealer with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
