International Tax Accountant EMEALocation: Manchester / hybridDepartment: FinanceWe're seeking an International Tax Accountant to join our team in the EMEA region. If you're ready to dive into VAT, withholding tax, income tax, and corporation tax compliance while enjoying the flexibility of remote work, this might be the perfect opportunity for you.Key Responsibilities:Tax Compliance:Obtain data and returns from accounting systems and global finance leaders.Prepare or review VAT, withholding tax, income tax, and corporation tax returns.Maintain global tax compliance calendar and keep updated on tax legislation.Manage corporation tax filings and payments, partnership tax filings, and monthly tax accruals.Reconcile tax ledgers and assist with year-end group consolidated corporation tax charge.Support compliance obligations for non-UK secondments.Group Responsibilities:Reconcile and calculate profit extractions to the UK.Assist in reconciling group to local profit and organize tax-related meetings with finance teams.Support tax compliance for establishing permanent establishments and manage external tax advice costs.Partner Duties:Calculate year-end non-UK partner tax reserves and assist in reconciliation.Help calculate partner foreign tax payments and foreign tax credits availability.Assist in tax aspects of non-UK joiners, leavers, and transfers.Other Tasks:Assist in filing and preparing tax aspects of the Country by Country Report.Support preparation of Pillar 2 reporting requirements and analyze third-party tax advisor usage for efficiency improvements.Aid in tax aspects of acquisitions, office openings, mergers, and liquidations.Provide assistance to the International Tax Manager / Global Head of Tax.Required:Qualified ACA/ACCA/CTA2-3 years minimum experience in a tax related roleExcellent Excel skillsExperience using an accounting systemExcellent communication skillsAbility to work remotelyIdeal:Experience of international partnership structuresPerksOpportunities for career growth and development.Collaborative work environment.Hybrid working arrangement - 2 days from the officePrivate medical insurance, free health checks, dental insurancePension plan and life assuranceEnhanced maternity, paternity, and adoption payChildcare vouchers and season ticket loansSports club membership and a cycle to work schemeEmployee Assistance ProgrammeIn-house dry cleaning and online benefitsNote: Eligibility for benefits is dependent on location and length of service.
