International Sales ManagerThe International Sales Manager is responsible for leading and delivery of international market sales strategy to achieve multi million pound budget targets.Key Roles and Responsibilities include:As a key member of our team you will:Have a seasoned track record of proven international sales background and achieving / exceeding sales targetsBe the lead contact for all matters relating to existing and new accounts and be responsible for day to day account management within defined territoriesHold a deep understanding of diverse market dynamics, customer preferences, and cultural nuances to tailor approaches that resonate with each unique marketManage and develop successful relationships with distributors and introduce new channels of salesResearch and data analyse territories, to interpret business risks, challenges and opportunitiesBe a working influencer for agent distributor performance levels.Be confident in preparing business plans and reports to formulate sales strategies and present these to the SMTBe a working influencer for agent distributor levelsWork collaboratively with internal departments, to develop excellent levels of customer service, provision of products and servicesBe comfortable working with and manipulating IT packages and CRM systemsPerson SpecificationThe information provided below is the criteria by which a candidate will be assessed against to measure the suitability for the role.Qualifications/RegistrationBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field or equivalent/ExperienceExtensive proven experience in SalesExperience setting high level business goals/targetsSignificant business development & account management experienceExperience managing complex supply chainsUsed to frequent international travelEducation/TrainingInternational Sales Specialist certificationsHigher education certification or equivalentKnowledge & Skillsor equivalent experienceResults-orientated with strong global market analytical skillsCross cultural communicationStrong interpersonal skillsFluent in English in both written & verbal skillsUnderstanding of international currencies for pricingDemonstrable abilities for profitable growthCalm under challenging circumstancesAble to balance conflicting demands & prioritiesExcellent customer service/relationship managementBehaviours/competenciesNegotiatorInfluencerListenerCollaboratorFlexibleProblem solverAssertiveAutonomousOther requirementsMust be/able to be a very regular international travellerAttend trade & other conferences & training as required in the uk & abroadWorking hours for this role - 37.5 per week, some flexibility is needed due to International Travel/Trade ExhibitionsThis is a Home based/Field role, attending the office 1 x per week
