About the role
The University of Sussex is seeking to recruit an International Partnerships Manager to join our International Office team to lead on the maintenance and development of international recruitment partnerships to help to deliver our global ambitions.
This is an exciting time to be joining the University of Sussex as we build on existing success in international student recruitment and partnerships.
We have bold plans for expanding the productivity and range of our recruitment partnerships and this role will play a pivotal role in delivering against these ambitions.
Working under the direction of the Associate Director International, you will work closely with Senior International Officers and academic schools to:
Lead on all aspects of the University’s contracts with recruitment partner universities and colleges.
Underpin the development of effective working relationships between partner institutions and University departments
Develop, implement and manage Student Recruitment and Marketing Strategy for the recruitment partnerships.
Provide advice, guidance and policy development that supports innovation in the development of recruitment partnerships including considering new models of partnership, new academic areas for partnership and new overseas territories in which to develop partnerships.
Ensure quality assurance arrangements are aligned with institutional and external regulatory requirements, and manage risk as appropriate
About you
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to develop and manage relationships between partner institutions and University departments. You will have
previous experience of work in partnerships, preferably student recruitment partnerships. You will have a clear understanding of the opportunities and issues relating to student recruitment partnership development and management. You will have excellent administrative skills and the ability to work highly efficiently and effectively to deliver results.
