International Accountant - Education Charity

About Our Client A medium-sized Global Education Charity are looking for an Interim International Accountant, whose main focus will be to co-ordinate the charity's international taxation as well as other accounting duties. If successful, there is the option to join the Charity on a permanent basis.
Job DescriptionMajority of the work is related to International TaxLiasing with the auditors both in UK and internationally - being the main point of contactProject management Liasing with the Financial Accountants and the non finance staff who work internationallyOverseeing the tax activities internationallProviding a tax advisory service for stakeholders - looking at international tax strategy
The Successful Applicant A successful International Accountant should:Be fully qualified (ACA ideally)Be Practice trainedHave proven experience in a similar senior-level role.Have a strong knowledge of international tax (a must)Have prior experience working for Not for Profit organisationsHave good working knowledge of statutory accountsBe able to thrive in a dynamic environmentBe strategically switched onHave strong communication skills to work with finance and non finance stakeholders What's on OfferA temporary role with potential for extension or permanency.Exposure to international taxation in the Not For Profit sector.A supportive, team-oriented culture.The chance to report into an exception Deputy Director of FinanceFlexible working (1-2 days maximum per week in the office)Competitive day rate
