Internal Sales Executive

Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham (office based)Bell Cornwall Recruitment are delighted to be working with a longstanding, reputable manufacturing jeweller in Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter region. They are looking for an internal sales executive to join their team.Duties and responsibilities of a Internal Sales Executive include (but are not limited to):To provide support to the Commercial Manager and within the sales department as required.Handling customer enquiries via email and telephone and occasionally face to face, providing customer quotations and product information with the aim of closing a sale.Following up quotations and generating further business.To ensure that sales enquiries and orders are processed accurately and efficiently within an acceptable timeframe.Be competent in the management of inbound and outbound calls to new and existing customers to the required service delivery standards.The Person:Previous sales & office experience preferably in a manufacturing or technical environmentStrong negotiation skills to positively influence internal and external customers and help overcome barriers to sales and service.Proven customer management skills being able to demonstrate full ownership of resolving issues and enquiries.An understanding of the importance and financial impact (commercial awareness) of achieving high sales volumes and maintaining good service levels.Excellent organisation and time management skills with a proven track record in managing multiple tasks accurately and to deadline.Able to work individually and prioritise own workload and also be a proactive part of a team (possessing good interpersonal skills.)Happy to work in the office 5 days a week.Interested?
