Internal Control and Compliance Specialist

Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for an Internal Control and Compliance Specialist to join an international Tech business with offices in Leeds.

This is a great time to be part of a growing and fast paced business where you will play a pivotal role within the Finance team.

Reporting to the Senior Management team, your responsibilities will include:-

Reviewing process within both finance and operations ensuring compliance with the relevant legislation
Reviewing tax accounting processes
Documenting accounting policy procedures, formalising reviews and reviewing and establishing a robust internal control environment
Establishing suitable internal controls to to mitigate non-compliance and ensure processes are adaptable to business growthRequirements

Fully qualified Accountant, ideally ACA/ ACCA
Experience of working within internal control and compliance and ability to implement robust internal control procedures
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work with key stakeholders across the wider business and to tight deadlinesBenefits
