Polypipe Civils & Green Urbanisation design, develop and manufacture thermoplastic piping systems for civils and infrastructure projects with the industry's widest choice of water management, surface water drainage, sewer and cable protection systems.The role:You will be responsible for developing and implementing an effective internal communications strategy to foster engagement, alignment, and a sense of community among employees.Your role will involve crafting and delivering key messages, managing key internal communications channels, and ensuring consistent and timely communication of important company information. You will also serve as an advocate for the employee, driving a positive culture across both sites and external staff members, and promoting our core values.Working hours:Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00.Key Accountabilities:
* Develop and execute an internal communications strategy that aligns with the business focus areas, growth objectives, and improvement initiatives.
* Effectively convey business goals, key messages, and core values through appropriate channels, ensuring equal engagement and experiences for online, offline, and remote employees.
* Create engaging content and assets for various channels, including PowerPoint presentations, digital signage, and the internal communications platform 'Workplace by Meta.' Ensure content is timely, frequent, and captivating.
* Take ownership of the end-to-end creation and delivery of our internal magazine, 'Line Life.'
* Assist in planning, coordinating, and managing internal events and activities that foster employee engagement and communication.
* Implement metrics and regular reporting to measure the effectiveness of internal communication channels and campaigns. Taking necessary actions to improve performance based on insights.
* Coordinate with stakeholders across the wider business group, tailoring messages to different audiences and ensuring alignment with overall communication strategies.
* Act as an advocate for employees, understanding workplace cultures, and maintaining a visible presence across both manufacturing sites in Horncastle, Lincolnshire, and Loughborough, Leicestershire.The person:
* Undergraduate degree in a Marketing or HR related subject
* Experience in a previous marketing communications or internal communication role
* Experience in engaging a varied workforce eg. Online, Offline & Remote
* An understanding of identifying/influencing workplace cultures across the business
* Experience in implementing an internal comms strategy
* Ability to create creative, successful content for multiple channels
* Ability to prioritise workloads and multi-task
* Excellent attention to detail
* Able to manage own schedule
* Able to demonstrate leadership qualities
* Able to work as a team and communicate effectivelyThe Benefits:
