This role underpins consistent high-quality internal communication across BMT, supporting the Global Internal Communications Manager (GICM) in managing and executing a unified approach to communications across the group. It involves:
Supporting the execution of a group-wide internal communications plan.
Monitoring and evaluating communication activities' effectiveness.
Assisting Global Business Services (GBS) with communication campaigns.
Leading the management of the global Share & Connect calendar.
Producing effective communications aligned with BMT's style, brand guidelines, culture, purpose, and values.
Undertaking content development, including copy-writing, video creation, podcasting, and presentations.
Providing operational support to the GICM.
Updating and maintaining intranet content.
Ensuring adherence to BMT communication policies and processes.

In terms of location, our offices are in Bath, Bristol, London, Fareham, Weymouth & Plymouth, offering flexible and hybrid working arrangements for this full-time position.
About you
To excel in this role, you should possess:
A positive disposition and an engaged, proactive approach.
Three years’ experience in communications (internal or external).
A related University degree.
Excellent written communication skills with the ability to develop targeted content.
Confident interpersonal skills across all levels of the organisation.
Methodical planning and sound project management skills.
Ability to work well within a team or autonomously, and comfortable with remote collaboration using Teams.
