NXTGEN is again working closely with a very good client who are highly regarded in Suffolk, and becoming a go to Accountancy firm! This is a unique and rare role, as they're looking for someone to join their internal finance team to manage and take ownership of all bookkeeping duties. They are a modern practice who are looking for someone who is an experienced Bookkeeper, who can be an integral and trusted member of their high performing team. This role is based in their Bury St Edmunds office, who also really invest in their employees and have an impressive low staff turnover. You will be responsible for various Bookkeeping tasks, such as monthly management reporting, VAT returns, purchase & sales ledger, cash flow management, and all over transactional duties!
Due to this being a new position, they can look at it being either full or part time (a minimum of 3 full days a week and 20 hours).

The ideal candidate should have broad experience in Bookkeeping preferably attained within a practice or client facing setting. QuickBooks and Xero, and strong Excel proficiency are highly desired. Further study support and ample opportunities for advancement await the successful candidate.
