We'll nurture and mentor you towards broader business and finance responsibilities, paving the way for advancement into key positions. What You'll Do Every Day Participating and leading on delivery of core audit activities, including preparation of risk assessments, test programmes and drafting audit report content in line with the functional Internal Audit methodology. Engaging key business partners during audit activities, providing regular progress updates. Actively developing strong relationships with a wide range of business contacts to gain knowledge and insight into the issues affecting the business and maintaining effective partnerships. Maintaining quality and integrity standards and delivering against functional KPI targets. Engaging with action owners to obtain regular progress updates and drive timely completion of audit actions. Assisting the development of the audit plan for the year by proposing relevant audits and analytics work for inclusion. You Should Apply If Accounting or Audit qualification (ACA/ACCA or IIA is preferred). Internal Audit experience, including 1- 4 years relevant PQE. Demonstrable knowledge of risk and control audit methodologies and practical experience of auditing techniques, including risk assessment, controls evaluation, different testing methodologies (substantive and non-substantive) and audit report writing. Ability to develop and execute high quality audit programmes from first principles (where no prior audit files exist), for ambiguous or abstract operational and commercial business processes. Integrity and objectivity. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. To be a great teammate, capable of building and maintaining effective relationships. Demonstrable commercial acumen and ability to make practical recommendations that add value to the business. Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to challenge where necessary. Ability to adapt to new ways of working.
