Job DetailsInternal Auditor - flexible locationA fantastic opportunity for the right candidate exists with the UK arm of John Sisk & Son limited.The role is for the permanent role of Internal Auditor within the Commercial Assurance team, responsible for undertaking audits and analysing business reports and data to establish compliance with business requirements.We are looking for a curious, inquisitive and enthusiastic individual, comfortable working both within a team and independently.The role requires an excellent communicator who is proactive and organised, capable of undertaking multiple tasks to various deadlines.Key ResponsibilitiesTake part in conducting internal auditsEstablish compliance (laws, contracts, regulations, policies)Analyse business data, evaluate information and systemsAssimilate large amounts of complex dataContribute to the continuous improvement of the audit processClearly communicate findings, orally and through written reports. Communicates key issues with supporting informationAssist in identifying Corruption and Integrity issues.Establish investigation methodology (e.g. in instances of bribery and corruption and fraud)Experience & SkillsDemonstrable project management skills and/or knowledgeA proactive self-starterResults orientatedAn ability to work independentlyAn ability to work on multiple tasks and maintain awareness of deadlinesAn understanding of project planning, project management, phases of a construction projectCommunicates upwards and downwards with equal clarityCommitted to long term business improvementA curious, inquisitive mindset and enthusiasm for problem-solvingExperience of understanding, digesting, explaining, analysing processes, policies and proceduresTraining/QualificationsDesirableHNC / HND / BTEC or Degree (Construction related).Training to be provided on commencementAnti-Bribery and Corruption course (Bribery Act 2010)Project Compliance trainingConflict of Interest trainingBusiness Ethics trainingAt Sisk we are committed to attracting and hiring diverse talent into our organisation.
