KHIPU Networks is based on the edge of Waterfront Business Park, within 5 minutes’ walk of Fleet mainline station with direct links into London. There is also ample free parking available on site. The job will involve travelling to existing and potential customers across the UK.

Internal Account Manager – The Role:

We have vacancies for a new Internal Account Manager to join our sales team. The successful applicant will work in conjunction with two to three Account Director’s, engaging with their prospects and customers, whether on the phone, face to face or written.

The role will be predominantly office based, with the opportunities to meet with the customers you are engaged with on a quarterly to six monthly basis alongside the Account Director. Applicant will need to be confident in liaising with our vendors, to request quotes, complete deal registrations, then prepare the quote internally before sending to the customer. Applicant will need to be proactive in following up with the customer to ensure quotes are received and should they wish to progress. 

This is a challenging and varied role and will only suit a self-motivated individual wishing to begin a career in sales. Full training is given both internally and externally on our products, solutions and customer references. This role involves travel within the UK.

Internal Account Manager – Key Responsibilities:

- Self-Motivated and willing to come out of your comfort zone, learn the ropes from the best to excel to an external salesperson position, with the future opportunity of earning a high commission

- Proven experience in building relationships, with strong customer service

- Self-aware - the ability to identify your own weaknesses and short-falls and work with a team of senior salespeople, to help improve and develop your skills

- Be able to push the boundaries to help close business

- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

- Efficient at follows up and diary management

Internal Account Manager – You:

- It is essential to have a keenness and aptitude for working with a team

- Fluent written and spoken English, competence in written dialogue (e.g. internal and customer emails)

- Ability to work under pressure

- Outgoing, open minded, motivated and enthusiastic

- Maintain a professional and polite disposition at all times

- Have a good understanding of MS office

- Enjoy working with a team, where hard work is fun and rewarding

- Has a full UK driving license and the right to work in the UK

- Ideally graduate level or above
