Intermediate Test Analyst at University of Canterbury, Canterbury Located in Ōtautahi | Christchurch, Aotearoa | New ZealandFull-time at 37.5 hours per week (1.0 FTE)12 months fixed term role.Āu Mahi | What You Will DoYour experience as an experienced QA professional will support Digital at UC in ensuring quality delivery of a variety of projects with significant business impact.You will be working with supportive and motivated teams to test in-house and vendor-supplied systems, creating, and executing test plans and scenarios, both manual and test automation and manage UAT testing with engaged business stakeholders. This project is both high profile and high priority project for the university and as such the ability to hit the ground running is essential.You will improve quality throughout Digital Services by sharing QA knowledge and skills to our teams and expand your skills by learning from more experienced colleagues.We are seeking team players, with strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail while being able to see the bigger picture to ensure successful project delivery. Your skills in writing test scripts, producing test cases and documenting defects and test results will be valuable.You will also have:A minimum of 5 years' QA experience, including functional and automated testing of web-based software applications.A Bachelor's Degree in a Computing, Commerce or Finance-related discipline or equivalent.A recognized testing certification will be an advantage.Experience of modern testing technologies and will be comfortable working in an agile team.Experience creating regression tests.You will have a strong customer service ethic and will be responsible to both internal and external clients.
