Interior Designer

The interior design role provides a great opportunity for someone looking to develop and implement their interior design skills in the commercial sector. My client is an established premium serviced and managed office operator in London’s most sought after locations, the interior design position shall be tasked with leading design studies for potential projects, planning and producing new design concepts to fit the brand. The role will consist of working with the management team on leading feasibility studies for potential projects, planning and producing new design concepts to fit brand and aiding delivery of the project in collaboration with the PM and external contractors.We are looking for someone with experience within the workspace sector and who is looking to lead project and develop the interior design department.Duties:lead new build and redevelopment projectsproduce design reviews by way of gathering and presenting informationproduce design and production informationundertake on-going research of furniture, products, finishes and materialsFF&E selectioncreate space plans and aid feasibility studies for new and existing buildingsdocumentation and pre-construction planning to illustrate design concept and confirm selection of products.involvement during staging and closeout stages to ensure design concept is maintained throughout the projectRequirements:knowledge of building regulations, British standards and other relevant statutory legislationAutoCAD and Autodesk Revit and a good working knowledge of other project softwareexcellent design and technical skillsbe self-motivated and committed to achieving personal and company missions and visionsbachelors or masters in design or architecturea minimum of three to four years’ work experience in interiors of
