Job Summary: The Interior Design Coordinator will support the Director – Interior Design in the briefing, development and delivery of campus-wide interior design projects. The Interior Design Coordinator will have particular accountability for furniture selection, procurement and installation.The Interior Design Coordinator will be responsible for budget and programme management of projects, including the creation and management of trackers/reports, snagging etc.The Interior Design Coordinator will establish and build relationships with key suppliers and demonstrate experience of coordinating a variety of projects.Annual Salary: circa £35k dependent on experienceClosing Date: 30th April 2024 Main
Responsibilities: This is an office-based role, with the flexibility to work from home up to 1 day per week.Working within a multi-skilled team to interpret a client brief into an exceptional interior designed space which is on time, in budget and to a high standard.Liaising with suppliers, manufacturers, tradespeople to understand base build finishes/materials including limitations of their product, costs, statutory compliance, warranties, obtaining samples, swatches, etc.Preparing and developing presentations, drawings, mood boards and other concept materials in 2D/3D format.Preparing product options, finishes palettes and coordinating samples, coordinating showroom/gallery tours etc.Assisting with FF&E specification, procurement, styling and on-site
snagging/installation. Managing and updating FF&E library and storage alongside Interior Design Coordinator.Working with professional photographers and videographers in coordination with Sales & Marketing team and assist with styling on shoots to stage and style based on given brief.Reviewing sales and marketing collateral for technical accuracy.Preparing and monitoring budgets, trackers, benchmarks, reports in a timely manner.Managing invoices and reporting on all budgets. What We Require of You: Minimum 2/3 years industry experience in a relevant field. Experience from contractor/developer side would be preferable.A candidate with project management experience incl design coordination, information flow, design/construction programmes, costs and budgetingA candidate with great client skills, design flair and proven experience in concept design.A candidate with a broad knowledge of FF&E incl furniture, lighting, art/accessories trends in the current market.A candidate with demonstrable knowledge and understanding of materials, finishes incl costs, supply chains, contacts in the industry, application, etc. Strong knowledge of luxury materials and finishes is a bonus.Excellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication skills. Must have the ability to communicate in corporate and construction
environments.
Ability to communicate in technical language is essential.Self motivated, multi-tasking with the ability to work under high pressure to manage own time and workload effectively.Must be a team player and be able to work well with the assigned teams.Conversant with Microsoft Office packages. SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop and other design related software experience are essential What We Offer:
