Interim Senior Financial / Technical Accountant

Job Description
I am recruiting an Interim Financial Accountant for a venture capital (VC) backed technology client based in Reading.
Supporting the Financial Controller, your key responsibilities will be varied, but will include:
Acting as a key point of contact for the Group entities regarding financial statement inquiries (IFRS), ensuring compliance with the relevant accounting standards (IFRS).
Balance sheet reconciliations to ensure all items are reconciled, disclosed and accounted for correctly. Providing a detailed commentary for the Financial Controller.
Liaison with auditors re: FY23 and all necessary adjustments.
Providing technical accounting guidance to finance colleagues.
Analysed P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow providing an explanation of key material movements.
Requirements:
A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) ideally from Audit.
Technically strong (IFRS) with extensive financial accounting / technical accounting experience.
Knowledge of controls. Experience on controls and remediation/audit is advantageous.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop and sustain good working relationships with internal and external clients.
Experience of NetSuite would be advantageous.
Available immediately
Hybrid working - 1 to 2 days per week in Reading office
£550 inside IR35
