Purpose of Role

Decommissioning Legacy MIS & Finance Systems
Based:
Hybrid – Minimum two days a week in Wimbledon, Tuesdays & Thursdays
Contract:
This role is inside IR35
Reporting to the Group Head of Technology – Programmes, the interim Project Manager is responsible for liaising with Regional staff and schools to ensure that legacy MIS and Finance data & systems are decommissioned in a compliant, timely and cost effective manner.
The core academic and finance data will have already been migrated onto the new strategic platforms.
The focus for this role will be on ensuring that the data held on those legacy systems is managed in line with local data retention compliance rules and avoiding costs of extending legacy contracts, where possible.
This is not a technical delivery role but experience of systems implementation may provide a good understanding of the decommissioning considerations.

Core Responsibilities
Ownership of the master dashboard of decommissioning activities and decommissioning master template used for all schools/countries
Liaising with local Regional & School reps on the activities required to be completed and agreeing deadlines
Tracking & reporting status on a weekly/monthly basis
Removing issues/blockers and escalating where necessary
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of 3 years project management experience including proven track record of delivery
Experience working in Education is desirable
Fluency in English is a must
Spanish is desirable
Proven experience in programme management with a good knowledge of project management methods
Change management leadership skills with proven skill managing stakeholders.
Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling projects/programmes.
Microsoft Office 365 and Project Management applications (including Monday.com) knowledge advantageous.
Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
High Level interpersonal and leadership skills, must have strong persuasion and negotiation skills, including conflict resolution skills
Strong initiative, integrity with good judgment while handling multiple tasks simultaneously and driving projects with autonomy.
Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills under pressure. Is logical and efficient, with attention to detail.
Financial Management skills in budgeting, forecasting and expectation setting
Sufficient credibility to advise teams on their projects in relation to the programme and the ability to command respect to create a sense of community amongst the members of the project teams.
